With the 24 of Le Mans "break" nearing an end, BK Motorsports and their Mazda powered Lola are prepared to be back in the thick of the American Le Mans Series schedule as the series goes back to work this weekend at Lime Rock Park in the northeast.

The team accomplished a great deal since the last event at Miller Motorsports Park. With numerous test days and massive amounts of work back at the shop, the team has more pieces in place to do battle in the LMP2 fight which has proved to be quite a tall order during the 2007 season.

"We are certainly not going to give up...and the early part of the race in Salt Lake shows what we are capable of," commented Ben Devlin as he discussed the upcoming Lime Rock event. "Two of the next three tracks are places Jamie and I know quite well and the team has been focused on doing well. Road America is the team's home circuit...Mid-Ohio is a place we have been able to test at a number of times...and Lime Rock levels the playing field to an extent as it is a tighter circuit and brings all the LMP2 cars closer together."

And Jamie Bach echoed the same..."It has been really good for the team to get testing under our belts. The biggest thing we needed was seat time...run time...and the opportunity to try things. We have been doing all of our testing in public at the early races...and it was nice to have some relaxed test days to work very hard on the amazing Mazda package we have."

The team will be arriving in Lime Rock on Monday, July 2 in preparation for testing on July 3...and the 2 hour and 45 minute race on Saturday afternoon. The race will be televised on CBS Sports network on July 8, 1PM EDT (tape delayed.)  Stay tuned for updates and results from Lime Rock...
